Orange pH Minus Grow is used to lower the pH of the substrate or feed water in a hydroponic system using a (53%) nitric acid solution.
This substance acidifies the water or substrate and adds a reasonable amount of nitrogen. Because of this last part, one should be careful when dosing pH Minus Grow in the water and only use it during the growth phase. The nutrient profile of the water (and therefore the nutrition of the plants) changes when pH Minus Grow is added.
When combined with the Orange King or Complete products, the amount of pH Minus Grow added to the feed water will rarely exceed safe levels.
