Orange pH Plus is used to increase the pH of the substrate or feed water in a hydroponic system.
This is done by using a (25%) potassium hydroxide solution. This substance increases the alkalinity of the water or substrate and adds a reasonable amount of potassium. Because of this last part, caution should be taken when dosing pH Plus in the water. The nutrient profile of the water (and therefore the nutrition of the plants) changes when pH Plus is added. When combined with the Orange King or Complete products, the amount of pH Plus added to the feed water will rarely exceed safe levels.
The King and Complete products are designed to optimally acidify and buffer the water.

Orange pH Plus wird verwendet, um den pH-Wert des Substrats oder des Speisewassers in einem Hydrokultursystem zu erhöhen.Dazu wird eine (25 %) Kaliumhydroxidlösung verwendet. Diese Substanz erhöht die Alkaliwerte des Wassers oder Substrats und fügt ihm eine angemessene Menge an Kalium hinzu.

Das Nährstoffprofil des Wassers (und damit die Nährung der Pflanzen) ändert sich bei Zugabe von pH Plus. In Kombination mit den Orange King- oder Complete-Produkten wird die Menge an pH Plus, die dem Speisewasser zugesetzt wird, die sicheren Werte nur sehr selten überschreiten.
